There's so much going on today about President Obama's decision about whether or not to bomb Syria, and the Peanut Gallery is busy as ever with sugestions, criticisms, etcetera. But this is, as I see it, the new Cold War, if you will. I have serious doubts that the conflict between Fundamentalist Islam and the West will be solved in my lifetime, so that I see a dramatic arena for creativity. Just as there were a rash of novels about the Cold War there will be a rash of novels about the War on Terror-
